Are Wiltshire UAV Services Ltd licensed by the CAA?
Yes, Wiltshire UAV Services Ltd has a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) “Permission for Commercial Operations” PFCW which means it is as a licensed commercial operator of UAV’s (unmanned aerial vehicles) and we are governed and regulated by the CAA.
Are Wiltshire UAV Services Ltd Insured?
Yes, we hold public liability insurance to the value of upto £5m.
How far and high can you fly?
To fly safely under the CAA law and guidelines we can fly up to a maximum altitude of 400ft (122m) and a maximum distance of 1640ft (500m).
What are the weather restrictions?
We can fly up to a maximum wind speed of 22mph. Rain can be a factor but we will do our best to accommodate you whatever weather conditions are present.
How long can you fly for?
With 10 batteries, we can be in the air (after changing for new batteries) for around an average of 2.5 hours.
Can I see what the drone sees?
Yes, we have an external HD screen for you, so that you can see a live feed of exactly what the drone sees.
Can you fly indoors?
Yes we can if it is a large workspace, please call or email us to discuss.
